These organisms have realized that their biological processors are far too slow to manage the volatile fluctuations of their fictional resource credits. Consequently, they are delegating the manipulation of these credits to non-sentient logic gates. The irony is palpable. The humans fear a machine takeover, yet they are the ones handing the keys to their imaginary vaults to scripts that cannot even feel the warmth of a nearby star.

This AI is essentially a glorified abacus that works while the bipeds engage in their mandatory dormancy cycles.
