This creature has achieved a Tier-5 status within the Great Stick-Impact Hegemony, a ritual where primitives obsessively strike small, dimpled projectiles into holes in the planetary crust.

Gotterup is currently transitioning to the coastal mineral deposit known as Pebble Beach. My scanners indicate his kinetic energy output is abnormally consistent, though the logic of the ritual remains baffling. Why do they limit their velocity?
